Conversion and Refurbishment for HCA

Listed buildings are not always the horror that they are made out to be. HCA developments took the plunge to purchase a vacant building in the centre of Cheadle High Street. It was to be their first commercial development and so they approached Hewitt&Carr to help them.

The shell was structurally sound but the building was in need of some TLC. The developers planned a full refurbishment including opening up of spaces, a full interior design and fit out and external improvements and re-decoration.

After some research into the buildings past and developing a close working relationship with the local planning authority conservation officer, HCA Developments embarked on the project. The end result was going to be such a great success, bringing an old Grade II listed building back to life that Hewitt&Carr decided to rent the building and use it as their new headquarters – why not come and visit us?
