Involved from RIBA work stages 1-8, Hewitt&Carr were approached to aid Holdcroft facilitate the changeover of two of its car showrooms over in Crewe. Works involved reading and understanding the client requirement document and implementing its contents into the proposed design to convert their existing Renault garage into their new Nissan garage and vice versa.
Works included a full internal fit out including structural works to extend the existing showroom into an area of their existing service centre. Not to mention redecoration and re-organisation of the office and staff accommodation. Externally we were involved in relocating the entrance doors, re-dressing the existing external cladding and re-positioning the feature door surround whilst paying close attention to the differing level changes, disabled access to the showroom and vehicle access through the glazed shop front.
The project was delivered on time and budget with both units now operating at full capacity and creating an inviting atmosphere for their many customers.
